1st Day
Flight u.s.a-Athens Athens-Corfu. Airport hotel transfer. Accommodation in Corfu.
30/4, FrIday
2nd Day
Bus tour around the island of Corfu, to visit the remains of the temple of Artemis, the Palace of Mon Repos on the Paleópolis peninsula…; the Aquileion, summer palace of the Empress Sissí; the characteristic church of Vlacherena; Paleokastritsa, place where, according to Homer, Odysseus landed … On the way back to the island’s capital, we will continue walking through the old city, declared a World Heritage Site in 2007. Accommodation in Corfu.

3rd Day
On Saturday morning after breakfast we go to Liston Square where many Philharmonic groups will come and catch different pieces for the first Resurrection. We will see large ceramic booths falling from the balconies around the square and a procession to the Cara of St. Spyridon.Finally a ritual return to the Hotel.

4th Day
Easter Sunday free for party and food free rest of the day.

5th Day
Parga to visit Nekromantio de Éfyra, the oracle of the dead located at the gates of the kingdom of Hades, at the confluence of the Aqueronte and the Cocito. We will continue to Nikopolis, a city built by Octavio Augusto after his victory over Marco Antonio and Cleopatra in Actium, facing the Gulf of Ambracia. From there we will go to Kassope to visit the remains of the ancient city, hypodamic, depopulated by Octavio to populate Nikopolis. After the visit, we will continue to Ioannina, on the shores of Lake Pamvotis. Night in Ioannina.

6th Day
We will leave Ioannina towards Dodona, to visit there the remains of the host city of the oldest oracle in Greece. Founded by the mythical people of the Pelasgos, it was consecrated to Zeus. Its theater stands out, even greater than that of Epidaurus. We will continue our trip to the Zagorochoria, 46 villages on the slopes of the Pindo mountain range, born as a refuge for the Greeks during the Ottoman occupation. We will return to Ioannina to continue walking the city. Night in Ioannina.

7th Day
Continuation of the trip to Vergina, the first capital of the kingdom of Macedonia before it was transferred to Pella, to visit the “royal tombs”, including that of Philip II, Alexander’s father. We will continue to Pella. Despite the fact that the excavation is not very advanced, the visitable parts, its mosaics and its small Museum are well worth it. Continuation of the trip to Thessalonica. Night in Thessalonica.

8th Day
Αfter breakfast, we depart We will continue for ferry boats for two monasteries for one nichts for women, we depart with ferry boats for half day cruise seeing several monasteries of mount athos and afternoon return to the hotel food and overnight in the city of oasis 1 days for women is free.

After breakfast, we depart retur to Thessaloniki over night.

10th Day
We will Drive to Pella, the capital of Alexander the Great. See the exquisite floor mosaics of the 4th century B.C. villas, in situ as well as in the new Museum. Then proceed and visit the Archaeological Park of Dion (sacred city of the Macedonians, at the foot of mountain Olympos). After the visit we shall start driving south and through Thessaly, Visit the Meteora: perched on top of huge rocks, which seem to be suspended in mid-air, stand ageless Monasteries, where you can see exquisite specimens of Byzantine art. Depart from Kalambaka. Night in Kalambaka.

Visit the Meteora: perched on top of huge rocks, which seem to be suspended in mid-air, stand ageless Monasteries, where you can see exquisite specimens of Byzantine art. Depart from Meteora. Lamia, Thermopylae (see the Leonidas’ Monument) and Thebes, arrive in Athens late in the afternoon.

12th Day
After the breakfast we depart for the city center of Athens to visit The Acropolis of Athens, the Acropolis museum, The Panathenaic Stadium, The Temple of Zeus, The monument of the Unknown Soldier, Panepistimio, Academy of Athens, The National Library of Greece and Omonoia (a neighborhood in downtown Athens). The visit also includes lunch and a walk in the narrow streets of Old town of Athens. Do not forget to enjoy your coffee in Thissio (a lovely neighbourhood right in under the Acropolis. With many outdoor cafeterias, this is a favourite coffee spot for locals and visitors). We also recommend you to see the sunset from Lycabettus Hill (the hill is the highest point in the city that surrounds it and provides the ideal setting for a couple in love). In order for you to spend a pleasant and unforgettable evening, we also recommend a lunch in a Greek taverna that has folk art form Greece as well as nice menu.
